Center for Asian American Media
The Center for Asian American Media puts on the Asian American Film Festival (AAFF) every year in the San Francisco Bay Area. It’s a well-run festival, and every year, it presents an opportunity to see a LOT of really good films.
I wish all film festivals delivered such a good selection of high-quality films as the AAFF does. I have seen so much great stuff at this festival over the years.
Apart from the AAFF, CAAM does a lot of other things, including providing seed money for new Asian American filmmakers.
Check out their site, check out the AAFF if you have a chance, and if you want to use your money to provide someone with the opportunity to speak through film, this is a good place to do it.
